Getting in the Groove for Philly

As August approaches, I've been rewriting like mad. My book never seems to be finished with changes...all for the good though. I'm so excited about going to the Greater Philadelphia Christian Writer's Conference.

I think the best thing about it is that I'll be seeing Bonnie there. We met about a year and a half (?) ago by way of Faithwriters.com. We exchanged manuscripts and critiqued each other's work. We've been best of friends ever since. And I have never spoken to her face to face...we have had some awesome email chats and a few phone calls. But it will be such a blessing to hang out together! Wahoo!

I do need prayer though. Money is really tight. I also would love for you to pray that I speak to the right people concerning my book.

Anyway, that is what I've been doing more of, instead of blogging.

May the Lord protect Philly from you and Bonnie. Oh my!

Just kidding.

But I do pray that the Lord provides your needs and sends you the right buyer for your precious book.

Bwa hah hah, Curm...Philly will never be the same again!

This is going to be so great. Mimi is like my bestest and dearest friend on the internet. It's sometimes almost like we were deparated at birth.

LOL...the Lord knew just what he was doing!

I have a best friend like that, but I have yet to hear their voice.

May you both have a wonderful time and may God bless you both with His richness and provision.

May the Lord open the right doors for your book and lead you through it.

Ha! If you're getting together with Bonnie, you need a CHAPARONE.

Hey, girlfriend are you volunteering to be our chaparone??? That would be great to get a hometown girl as a guide!

Have fun at the conference. I'm attending my first writer's conference in Dallas this September. I'll be meeting the members of my on-line critique group for the first time too (a group I got hooked up with through a Faithwriters connection!) Very exciting!
